The terrace and restaurant make a lovely place to settle in and take in the views, and dogs are welcome throughout the hotel and treated like royalty. Old Quay House sits right by the water on Fowey's main street, with shops and good restaurants all around. The boutique hotel is spotless and carefully maintained, and the staff are both professional and warm, clearly keen to make guests feel welcome. Comfortable, stylish, and genuinely hospitable.

We'd booked the best table for a sunny day, and the food was great. Lunch itself was lovely, though the service was slow: nearly 20 minutes passed before anyone asked if we wanted a drink.

Fowey is such an easy place to unwind, watch things go by, or take a small boat up the river. Back at the hotel, breakfast was a treat: Harissa Eggs Benedict, good coffee, and a view to envy. We had two of the most relaxing nights we've enjoyed since running our restaurant in the Herefordshire countryside. The rooms were immaculate, the restaurant food superb, and the service exceptional. It's refreshing to find somewhere else that understands hospitality. We'll be back!

We only meant to stop for coffee, but stayed on for lunch. The light meal was tasty, and having small and larger portions at two different prices worked perfectly for us and was reasonably priced. The staff were attentive, the place was clean and tidy, and dogs are welcome. I'd definitely recommend The Old Quay House.

Right in the heart of Fowey, with friendly people, a comfortable feel and good food. Breakfast was especially good, and it's very dog friendly.
