Boulston Manor

The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful, and breakfast was even better. We felt so welcome and at home. There was a log burner in our room, which was great in the evenings. Jules & Rod were fantastic. It's a perfect spot for a getaway retreat.

The Pembrokeshire coastline is wonderful for walking and watching nature, with options for being more active too. Be sure to visit St Davids! Rod and Jules are perfect hosts, and the rooms are comfortable in magnificent surroundings. I also loved the sign for Rural rumble strips!

It's peaceful and gorgeous here, with good-sized rooms and lovely walks nearby. I found plenty of reading nooks in the room, and the internet connection was strong there. There were separate connections in the dining room and hallway to maintain the bandwidth, so I could teach my yoga class on Zoom while on holiday. If three heaters still aren't enough, there are extra blankets. The hosts were accommodating and informative. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast was lovely and filling. You choose what you'd like and the time the night before, then leave the sheet outside your door. There's a variety of breakfast items to pick from. Rod and Jules are lovely, accommodating hosts. We stayed in the gold room, which has a balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds and river. The room has an en suite bathroom with a raised jet bath in the middle and a walk-in shower. Bathrobes and everything else are provided. The historical manor is in a magical spot beside the river, hidden by trees. With the lights off, it's pitch black, with no lights visible anywhere. There's a telly with Freeview, plus tea and coffee.
