Premier Inn Frome

The beds were super comfy, and the rooms clean and comfortable, with a hot shower. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were there in unlimited supply, and the TV worked. The restaurant was lovely and breakfast excellent. And to the woman complaining at the hot water urn about the whole hotel because she hadn't noticed you have to keep your finger on the button, which the sign says: please read this and be grateful. Shut up!

We were sorry to leave. The restaurant was packed on Saturday night, so we weren't expecting much, but the service was spot on and the food beautifully cooked. We used the place as a base for the Bath area, had breakfast there most days and dinner twice. I'll definitely stay here whenever I'm back in the area.

We were glad to have a late checkout at 12pm, so there was no rush. The room was lovely, and the fan was much appreciated during the sudden heatwave. The bathroom was gorgeous too. Jayden looked after us at breakfast and gave perfect service, even with the bank holiday crowds. Thanks, Jayden 🤩

The cold room was my only real issue. In the evening it was freezing, and it still wasn't very warm in the morning. I ended up wearing bed socks and my dressing gown to bed because the electric heater was barely giving off heat. After a previous stay at another Premier Inn in South Wales, which had no central heating and just one small electric fire for the whole room, I thought about bringing a halogen heater to Frome. Wish I had. For rooms close to £100 a night for a double, guests should have another heating option and be warm. I'd advise anyone staying at a Premier Inn in colder months to bring their own heat source rather than count on the room heater. This was my first time at this hotel, beside a Beefeater restaurant. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, but the small window meant it wasn't very light. The en suite was a good size and very clean. The shower pressure kept going up and down, and the temperature wasn't steady either.
