The Lighthouse

The staff were very helpful and polite. Our family accommodation was clean, with a good sized double bed, an extra day bed and a separate twin bedroom. The bathroom was quite big as well. The cooked breakfast was good, though there wasn’t much else in the buffet. They did have a pancake machine. Thank you, Rowena.

The woods around The Lighthouse are magical, and there’s a lovely play area for children. We stayed three nights as a family of five, with two grandparents, two parents and one child. Our family suite was beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the grounds were kept so well. The staff made us feel very welcome. With Longleat, Frome and Bath nearby, there was plenty for everyone to do. A perfect break.

We had a great two-night stay at The Lighthouse in Frome. Roweena greeted us so warmly and showed us to our room, which had all the little details covered. There were toiletries, tea and coffee, bottled water, a wardrobe fridge for keeping drinks cold, and both a ceiling fan and a standing fan for warmer evenings. The room itself was just right. Breakfast had loads of choice, and the grounds were beautifully kept. I’d happily recommend this B&B, especially with Longleat only about ten minutes away. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We felt welcome as soon as we checked in, and the breakfast room was comfortable. Breakfast was just what we needed to get the day going. The rooms were clean, spacious and so comfortable that my wife's sleep app recorded rest levels she’d never seen before. We loved our stay and will definitely return.
