The food is delicious, properly home cooked with local produce, and good value too. We visit The Fox & Hounds regularly and it’s always a pleasure. The staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and the service is great every time. Works just as well for a quiet meal for two as for getting the family together.

I’ve stayed here several times and can’t think of anything negative. The rooms were spot on, the food was incredible and very reasonably priced, and everyone on staff was lovely. They’ll happily stop for a chat and keep you entertained, especially Megan. Had a lovely stay and can’t wait to return.

We stopped in while passing, and the staff at this lovely pub were brilliant. From the specials, Dad chose his usual, Hunters Chicken, and said it was delicious. I had the Caribbean Chicken Curry, just as fruity and slightly spicy as I’d hoped from reading the menu, with big chunks of chicken. They asked whether I wanted rice, chips or half and half, so I went with both. The portions were excellent, and the price was very reasonable for how much food we got.
