We came for a night on the 14th February, expecting just somewhere local to stay, and ended up having a brilliant experience. Donna and Philip made us feel at home right from arrival. The food was much better than we'd expected, and the room was clean, comfortable and finished to a high standard. We asked at the last minute if breakfast was possible, and Donna and Philip happily went out of their way to cook it for us. It was fantastic. It's a rare find, and we'll definitely come back. Thanks again, John and Sharon.

We were here for a couple of nights for a family funeral, with the wake also held at the establishment. The place was warm and friendly, the accommodation comfortable, and the food excellent. They catered for our gluten-free diets too.

I was camping nearby and wanted somewhere to watch the football. The barmaid was smiley and welcoming, the beer was decent, and there were all the sports channels, a pool table and darts boards.

A really tasty burger, in a busy pub with attractive decor. The bar is popular, and there's a smarter dining area too. Both are very nice.

We sat in the beer garden to catch up, and the menu had the usual pub meals at reasonable prices. Inside was clean with lots of seating, and all the staff were polite. Great service overall. I'd gladly return and recommend it to anyone.
