The rooms are warm and comfortable, and the meals come in good portions with plenty to choose from. It’s also a quiet, handy base for exploring the north of Scotland and the Cairngorms. Heather was great fun, really friendly and chatty. This was our second visit, and we’ll definitely be back, especially for trips like the NC500.

Heather, our waitress, made us feel welcome and kept us entertained throughout our stay. We were there with a group on a motorcycling trip based out of Aultguish, and had a great time. The music playlist could use an update, but otherwise it was a perfect stay.

We popped in hoping to get dinner and were glad we did. The food and service were both great, and the location suited us well. They welcomed our dogs and even brought over a water bowl without us having to ask. We’d happily return.

We found a room at the last minute while on a bike trip from Ireland in mid-August. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The food was amazing too. It’s an ideal stop on the NC500, and I’d highly recommend it.
