Angel Cottage is run as a great example of hospitality. It’s a lovely place with a warm welcome, and I can only recommend this B&B if you can book it.

We had a beautifully decorated double room at Angel Cottage, right in the centre of the village. The host was friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was amazing. It was perfect for our first day on the West Highland Way.

After a first wet day of walking, arriving here was such a relief. The host was really kind and thoughtful, and the whole house, including the rooms and bathrooms, was beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast had a wide choice, and there’s a lovely pub right next to the B&B for dinner. I’d strongly recommend it.

The little lobby room had a great breakfast spread: fresh bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, cheeses and meats, jams, and freshly brewed coffee for the next morning. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming, and the room was clean with everything we needed, including a kettle, tea, and biscuits. I love a biscuit. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay after our first day on the WHW. Thanks so much.

Our first stop on the WHW trip turned out to be our best night. Lovely B&B, and a lovely host.
