The cabin was cosy and had plenty of heat, and the playroom was brilliant for the kids. We also loved the hot tub and having the kennel there. But I'd maybe not bring the children back because of the people in the cabin next to us. They stood at their door in their underwear, and I had to cover my three kids' eyes a couple of times as we came out of the playroom. The drive to the cabin wasn't great either. We had to reverse down the hill in the dark, with quite a large drop on both sides. Apart from those things, it was a lovely place to take my children, aged 7, 13, and 16.

The surroundings were so peaceful, with starry nights and lovely nature walks and views just outside the door. I really enjoyed the quiet, and the hot tub felt magical. It was great to relax in the jacuzzi in the cold weather and take a break from everyday life. Cairnfold Cabins made for an unforgettable escape. The cabin was cosy, spotless, well maintained, and comfortable. Alma was a wonderful host. Thanks for the hospitality and such a lovely stay. I'd recommend Cairnfold Cabins to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway, and we hope to return soon.
