Loch Lomond Luxury Lodges

The hot tub was great, and the lodge was well appointed, modern and clean. The dogs loved running around in the field at the back. There was some traffic noise from the road, but it wasn’t really intrusive.

We had a fabulous long weekend here with family. It was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, including comfortable beds and plenty of room in the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. It was reassuring to take our pup off lead into the woods, where he could burn off energy away from traffic. We’ll definitely be back.

Dear Sir, The cold jacuzzi water was a major disappointment. It stayed cold for a long time, both during the day and in the evening, even though I followed all the usage rules. I have photos showing how long we waited for it to heat up. The cabin was advertised with a hot tub and specific amenities, so I expected them to be available and working throughout our stay. I paid the full accommodation fee and a deposit, and access to those facilities was an important reason I chose this property. I’d appreciate a prompt explanation and details of how this can be resolved or compensated. The information before booking said pets were not allowed, so I decided not to bring mine. Seeing other guests with animals on the property was confusing and felt unfair. There were no towels, mould in the bathroom and visible dirt under the shower. I also disagree with the allegations about damage to the fridge and food left inside. Cleaning the fridge and property between guests is your responsibility. It’s unacceptable to focus on minor matters like leftover food while ignoring the hygiene problems, property standards and your own rules. This is not what I expect after paying full price, and I expect a fair response. I also have a serious concern about an employee’s conduct. They repeatedly entered the terrace to add hot water in an attempt to keep the jacuzzi working, though it remained cold. We weren’t told in advance, only notified after the employee had already accessed the terrace. That violated our privacy. The bedroom windows were open during the day, with curtains open and no blinds, so a stranger could see into the rooms while we were changing or using the living space. This was extremely uncomfortable and should not happen without prior notice and our explicit consent.

We stayed in the Wee Acorn pod, which had a covered hot tub right beside it. Both were very private, and the pod had an overhang at the front that made a sheltered seating spot outside. Inside, it was spotless and better equipped and more spacious than I expected, especially the lounge area. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The lodges and pods sit back from the main road behind an electric gate, with lovely, clean, well-kept grounds and separate parking for each property. There’s some road noise because the main road is close, but we didn’t find it too intrusive. If you want a pod with everything, this is it!
