Premier Inn Glasgow Stepps - M80 J3

Service was really disappointing. We asked three times for extra pillows and never got them, although we were told someone would bring them. At breakfast the restaurant room was freezing because the air con was on, and the food was cold. There were no clear labels showing what was suitable for people with allergies. The family room was cramped, with just one side table, and one charging point didn't work. There was only a C-type socket by the bed, with no plug socket. Mould covered the bathroom ceiling and skirting boards, which were damaged too. Condiments were set out for only two when there were four of us, so we had to ask for extra cups and other things.

Darren made a very difficult night easier for us. We came from Neath in south wales after my mother in law was taken ill, and reached the hotel after going to the hospital at midnight. He checked us in, carried our luggage to the room and was just a genuinely kind person. My mother in law sadly passed away a few hours later. Darren was understanding again and told us someone would let us back in whenever we needed to return. The hotel was convenient for my father in law's place, and when the funeral arrangements are sorted we'll be back in Glasgow. The staff really do go out of their way to make your stay comfortable, and we'll always be grateful to Darren. Donna & Steven ( Neath in south wales )

Breakfast from 0630 was handy for an early departure. The staff were wonderful and we had a very good stay. The hotel is easy to find, has a large car park that's free for customers, and sits outside the Glasgow LEZ zone, so there was no worry about fines.

The room was a good size and the bathroom was nice and modern. But it's a huge inconvenience that there are no plug sockets beside either side of the bed. We were also short staffed one day, so our room didn't get cleaned.
