We loved the property and had a very pleasant week there. It's beautiful, and we thought it was nice enough to leave a good review and kind comments in the guest house book. My relatives were also happy to book it again. But after checkout, the host asked for extra money, claiming there had been an extra person. There were only five adults, and the house has five rooms. The housekeeper let us in, saw us, helped with our luggage and checked us out, so they knew who was there. We contacted the booking website, and they said the host was cool and would understand the misunderstanding, but he never replied to our messages. Then he accused us of damaging the wallpaper and said a child had done it, even though we had no children with us. It was rubbish and unprofessional talk about guests. He's rude and greedy, asking for money for anything, even though we paid a high price for the week. It's upsetting because we really liked the property, but after this nobody in my family will book it again, and I can't recommend it.

We rented this absolutely stunning house through air bnb for two nights. The rooms were gorgeous, and the house felt relaxed and comfortable while still being high quality inside and out. The host was friendly and helpful, and it was amazing value. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Finding the place can be tricky, but the very private setting is a nice payoff. It's an ideal base for exploring this magnificent part of the world, with Loch Lomond (Balloch) nearby for bigger shops and Dryman village an easy walk or drive away for most everyday needs. The holiday house is lovely and spacious, easily fitting four adults and four kids with a room to spare. The layout and equipment are generally good, though the oven let it down and really wasn't great.

We stayed for a week in July/August. It worked really well for a family, with lots of space, plus a creek and trampoline in the yard.

Strathendrick House is beautiful, with lovely gardens and everything in immaculate condition. I couldn't fault it and would highly recommend it.
