The roast and steak pie we had for Sunday lunch were both delicious, and the service was fantastic. It was our first time eating there, but definitely won't be our last. We showed our neighbours photos of the food, and they've booked too. We're very glad we found this little hidden gem.

We booked lunch at Uplawmoor ahead of time since I didn't know how busy it would be, and Rebecca seated us straight away. The menu had a good choice, and the macaroni was lovely while the steak pie was really good and cooked well. The meals came out quickly, and Rebecca looked after us very well. Hope to come back. Breakfast doesn't start until 10am, which was the only downside, though a breakfast box is available. They could maybe offer self-service cereal and fruit. Apart from that, it's a great wee hotel, with clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and great food.

Lunch with my husband and daughter was really good. The food was excellent, with generous portions, and the service was good too. Good value for money.

That used to be one of our favourite places, which makes this a real shame, but we won't be going back. We went with friends on Saturday 16th August for a bar meal and the food was awful, overpriced, and took far too long. The menu wasn't good either. The steak pie meat was thick and chewy, and the chicken was stringy and hard to cut.
