Callart View

Breakfast was fantastic: eggs from their own chickens, homemade jam, excellent strong French-press coffee, great bacon and sausage, and even haggis that I enjoyed. The hosts were friendly without hovering. Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable, with a heavy feather comforter. A lovely place to stay in Glencoe, and we’d happily return. The last photo shows the loch from our window.

We had plenty of room to keep our motorcycles safe overnight, and the place was easy to find with clear signs. Lynn and Jeff were quick to respond while we were arranging the stay. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed breakfast before setting off on our second day of motorcycling. The view over the loch was stunning; I could have spent all day gazing out the window.

We loved our three nights here in September 2022. Lynn and Jeff were polite and accommodating, and the rooms were exceptionally clean and cosy. Breakfast came on time and was fresh and tasty. We took a short walk to the bridge and got lovely sunset photos of a few stags relaxing in River Coe, with Loch Leven behind them. Heaven!

We’ve just returned for our second stay at Callart View, and it’s still a place we’d strongly recommend. Walks are close by, and the front rooms have incredible views of Loch Leven. Our room was meticulously clean, well furnished, and had fresh bedding and towels plus a well-stocked tea tray. Breakfast is excellent, so you won’t go hungry. Lynn and Jeff are warm and welcoming, and nothing seems too much trouble.
