Windy Harbour Farm Bed & Breakfast

We had a lovely Mother's Day treat at Windy harbour today. There were three of us, my husband, daughter and me. We were seated when we arrived, offered drinks straight away, and the service came with a smile. The home-cooked menu had plenty to choose from, and the food was freshly made and served piping hot. The menu looked inviting and the meal lived up to it. Lee, the manager, and his staff were attentive and happy to help. The restaurant views were stunning despite the grim weather. After lunch, we went into the bar, where a huge rainbow haloed the sky. We won't hesitate to come back. Well done, Lee and team, you've got something special to offer.

We were staying overnight at the neighbouring campsite and just popped in for a few drinks. Everyone made us feel extremely welcome. It was a lovely, comfortable and friendly place. Thanks, folks, for a lovely visit. We'll be back.

Lee and his dad chris made a wonderful breakfast for us and put together gluten-free packed lunches too. My wife and I were walking for a few days, and I booked windy harbour as our first stop. Lee kindly drove us into town to get to a restaurant, then took us to the start of our second day's walk in the morning. Very impressed with the hospitality.

Our wedding at Windy Harbour last weekend was just perfect, and Lee and his team had a huge part in making it that way. Their help with planning was fantastic, and the day ran so smoothly. The food got lovely comments from everyone, and the service was 5*. The rooms were clean and cosy, with ridiculously comfortable beds, and breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to all the staff for the wonderful venue, setting and day. We'll always have beautiful memories of our marriage and celebrations.
