We had a Premier plus room for three nights. The room was lovely, the bed really comfortable, and the shower excellent. The staff were very nice to chat with. Beefeater is right next door, with an excellent menu and drinks, and very helpful staff. It's easy to drive back to Gloucester or head out to Cotswolds. Would definitely stay again.

The Twelve Bells Restaurant was a highlight again, with tasty food at sensible prices and quick, friendly service. The hotel has been just as dependable: the staff are top class and reception is always staffed. I like how quiet it is in the countryside, and the refurbished rooms are really good. This was my fourth stay, and I still think it’s the best in the Cotswolds. Thanks, see you next year.

I booked at the last minute to visit my dad, and this was the only place available. The price seemed a bit erratic, but the room was clean and well equipped, with both a bath and shower. I found the bed and pillows much too hard and woke up with back and neck pain. There was also a lot of noise overnight, with banging doors and TVs carrying through. I’m not sure I’d stay again.

We were staying here because my wife had a function in the next village. The room had a nice Art Deco feel, with a huge lamp and paintings on the walls. The internet was the big drawback: the connection and signal were poor, and it kept disconnecting. That was especially frustrating because my own mobile data was also weak in the area.

The WiFi kept asking me to reauthenticate all night, and support immediately blamed it on poor coverage at the hotel. Otherwise, it was a busy little Premier Inn that delivered what I expected, including a comfortable night's sleep.
