For £70 a night, this pod was tremendous value. We were looking for somewhere cheap to sleep, so we were surprised to find it. We arrived around 4ish and a welcoming chap at reception checked us in. The pod was tidy, peaceful, modern and clean, with everything we needed. Food was lovely too, and breakfast service was 10/10, with really good customer service from a nice chap. We stayed in pod 8 and had asked for a double bed, but got two singles on wheels. It wasn't a big deal, though keeping them together on the hard wood floor was a bit of a task. I may have been doing something wrong, but I couldn't keep the shower water hot, so a few instructions might help. Those were two small issues in the scheme of the night. Glamping for Travelodge money, you can't go wrong.

If you're using Google Maps or another GPS, the entrance is through the golf carpark, not the nearby "Two Mile Road". The pods are basic, as you'd expect, but have what you need. The stay was fantastic value, and both reception and breakfast were exceptional.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and really helpful, and breakfast was very tasty. My partner especially enjoyed golfing on the great course, which had plenty of people out using it. We stayed recently in a pod that was clean and cosy. The modern, clean showers and toilets were very close by. Gloucester city is a short drive away, with lots to see and do.

The pod was spotless and, though small, had everything we needed. Toilets were very close by, the staff were lovely, and I can't fault it. Perfect for our stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The golf course was a real highlight. I’ve played courses around the UK and America, and I’d rank this one very highly: the holes make you think and the course is well maintained. The showers were amazing and close to the pods, and breakfast was stunning 😋😋. Staff were warm and welcoming, and everything was clean. We were the only guests there, so I imagine it’s more fun in summer when there are other people around. We arrived about 3ish on a Sunday, too late for dinner in the club house. Lots of local pubs and restaurants closed early too, which was a bit strange, but the town is a short drive away with loads of food options. The club bar also closed early, probably because it was Sunday, though the club house sold cans and you could bring your own drinks. I’d definitely stay again.
