Halmer Grange

Breakfast was so good, freshly cooked to order with local produce, that after eating we didn't need anything else until tea time. We stayed three nights and did our best to try our way through the menu. The new little snug was a lovely extra, just right for sitting with a brew. This was our second visit to Halmer Grange B&B, and it won't be our last. The place is immaculately clean and tidy, and we were greeted warmly with tasty freshly baked treats. Charlotte and Karen are friendly, helpful and full of local tips. They really do go above and beyond. We can't wait to come back. Thanks for another fantastic stay!

We ended up at halmer grange for reasons I won't go into here, but we're really glad we did. The rooms are lovely, with thoughtful touches like fresh milk in flasks. On the second day, after we'd been out all day, there was even a basket with cookies and more milk because they knew we'd been away. Both breakfasts set us up for the day, and the coffee sorted out my hangover. The hosts gave us plenty of local tips about where to go and how to get there. It was a lovely escape for us. X

We had such a nice birthday treat staying here for a few nights. Halmer Grange Guest House is in the lovely village of Goathland, right by the village church, and the atmosphere felt homely as soon as we arrived. The friendly owners gave us everything we needed to know about the house and room, as well as the village, including where to eat and walk. Our room was fantastic, spotless and had everything we needed. I'd highly recommend it.
