Sunshine Serviced Apartments by Happy Sunshine Stay

The apartment is in a handy spot, and getting around was easy. We parked across the road at the railway station, where 24 hours cost just £3.40, then wheeled the wheelchair over in about two minutes. There are a couple of takeaways nearby, including Dominos Pizza. Goole was a pleasant surprise as a base for exploring Yorkshire, with York, Leeds and East Coast beaches like Bridlington all convenient to reach. Our first-floor apartment smelled of fresh paint and new carpet when we arrived, and the decor was tasteful. We had the room with the Queen size bed, while the other bedroom had twin beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the modern heaters were easy to use. We hardly needed them because the place was well insulated. The bathroom was warm and well equipped too. We'd definitely return, though I understand they also have property in Manchester, which we might consider. An easy five stars.

I booked for 45 days, but there was no free parking near the property. There's a private space at the back for a few hours, but leaving your car there is at your own risk. Water leaked through the roof in several places, including straight onto the bed in the first bedroom. On the third floor, the internet provided by the owner had no signal. If you're lucky, you might get some WiFi, but you can't browse. The owner came across as arrogant and disrespectful and needs to be more humble and respectful toward guests.

We stayed with our children while visiting family and found the place spacious, clean and welcoming. Netflix was a nice extra, and the host replied really quickly when we had questions. A great stay!

The owner is so friendly and accommodating, and these apartments are amazing. They're beautifully clean and have all the mod cons. Supermarkets and takeaways are very close, and the takeaways were some of the best I've tasted. One of the best places I've stayed. If I'm in the area, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I'd give it ten stars if I could.
