Milvil Bed Breakfast

We got to share our love of art deco with Angela and Steve, who are clearly enthusiasts too. They made our midweek break feel special, from the welcome tea and lovely hospitality trays to a birthday treat. The breakfasts were delicious and the hospitality was excellent. A delightful guest house with charming hosts, highly recommended.

Steve and Angela looked after my son and me really well. We stayed in the apartment, which was clean, nicely furnished and had its own little terrace. The art deco look is amazing, and we could also book a Full English in the breakfast room next door. It’s on a quiet street, about ten minutes from the beach and high street. There are plenty of places to eat, from fish and chips to restaurants, plus two small supermarkets if you’re self-catering. For what you get at the price, Milvil corner is hard to beat. Thanks to Steve and Angela, we’ll definitely come again.

Coffee and cookies were waiting when I arrived, and breakfast was picture perfect. Everything felt carefully prepared and thought through. The art deco style makes this the coolest B&B I’ve stayed in, both classic and modern. Steve and Angela were amazing hosts and made me feel completely welcome. It was a work trip arranged for me, but I’ve already asked if I can come back soon.

Angela took real care to make sure I was comfortable and gave me tips on places to visit. I was welcomed warmly with a cup of tea when I arrived. The B&B is very clean, and the service is outstanding. I stayed in a smaller room overlooking a tidy little garden. It was quiet, comfortable and beautifully furnished, though it could get a bit cold at night. You can ask for extra blankets. Fresh towels and toiletries were replenished daily. Breakfast offered enough variety for me to try something new each day. There was no fridge in the room, but the generous hospitality tray had teas, coffee, crisps, hot chocolate and more. The beach and shops are about a ten-minute walk away, and there are good places to eat, parks, nature reserves and heritage sites a short drive away. Check-in starts at 4pm and check-out is by 10am. There are three parking spaces at the property, with plenty of free parking around the beach. Milvil Corner made for a relaxing short break. Thanks, Angela and Steve.
