Oxgang Kitchen Bar & Rooms

The squeaky floor around the bed could be frustrating for whoever’s in the room next door or below. I’ve stayed at this hotel three times in the past couple of months and happened to get the same room each time. The room looked very clean, with spotless bedding and carpets, but there was a persistent bad smell from the bathroom, possibly the sink. Opening the window helped at first, though by morning the smell was back. I still like the hotel, and a little maintenance and attention to detail could make it a great choice for business stays.

The lamb chops and chicken tikka were both lovely. We had a delicious meal, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a lovely evening. I’ll definitely be back.

They were very accommodating when we travelled with our two large dogs, and I’d highly recommend Oxgang. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the location was great. The food was delicious, everyone gave us a warm welcome, and everything was reasonably priced, including the room. I couldn’t fault a thing.

The food really stood out. Half our party ordered from the European menu and half from the Indian menu, and both were superb. The Indian dishes tasted authentic, with the spices spot on, while the burger and mac and cheese hit the spot too. The place was pristine, super clean, and calm and welcoming. Our waiter was polite, wonderful, and checked in without being intrusive. I hadn’t even known this little gem was here, despite living in Grangemouth for a couple of years. I’ve got one, and I’ll definitely be back whenever I feel like going out for dinner. The staff were amazing and so friendly.
