Mount Barker Bed & Breakfast

The Henderson room was roomy and comfortable, and after our cold, wet days the bathtub was such a treat. We had a wonderful three-night stay at this lovely B&B. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with plenty to choose from. Thanks for the lovely accommodation and service!

The host was so kind and attentive, and the house felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. It’s been fully renovated, with stylish decor and spacious, distinctively furnished rooms. Everything was spotless, and we got fresh towels daily. There’s a coffee machine, plus fresh tea bags in different flavours each day. Breakfast is a special à la carte meal with lots of fresh fruit. A big thank you to our lovely host!

Mount Barker was a great place to stay for our week in Scotland. The area is quiet, and we slept well every night. Our room felt luxurious, with lovely furnishings, a mini fridge, tea and coffee, a kettle, coffee maker, biscuits, toiletries, and a small decanter of whiskey for the end of the day. Karen was attentive over breakfast, which was fantastic, and knew plenty about the area. We were there mainly for golf, and she suggested some lovely places to visit on our free days. We’d thoroughly recommend it.

The Cairngorm National park area made a perfect base for our visit, and the room was phenomenal. Karen and her husband were lovely hosts, the service was great, and Karen cooked a delicious breakfast at home. Everything was very, very clean. It isn’t a bargain, but I thought it was worth every penny and would stay again. Thanks for having us!
