The Plough Inn Boddington

The food was amazing and very good value, and the service was excellent. Everyone on staff was friendly, and the location is good too. I’d definitely recommend it. We’ll come back for food next time we’re in the area.

Every meal our group wanted was out of stock, even though someone had booked a table with the venue. The waitress was rude too. She said, and I quote, “to be honest I'd rather you not here anyway, because then I could go home to my dog!” One person in our party was served apple juice that was out of date, all lumpy and slimy. I don’t think I’d ever go here again.

We went for an early Friday evening dinner. The pub was packed with people drinking, but the restaurant was almost empty. The service was the strangest I’ve experienced. Our waitress kept trying to joke, but came across as rude and wouldn’t leave our table alone during the meal. The menu was completely different from the one online and more expensive, and they’d run out of fish 🤷‍♂️

We had a brilliant day in this dog-friendly village pub. The Sunday beef roast at the Plough Inn was really tasty and the perfect end to it. The staff were friendly and very efficient, and the locals we met after our brisk walk along the millennium way into the village were lovely and welcoming. It’s in a lovely village and deserves its excellent reviews. I can’t recommend it enough. They also have rooms, so I’m sure it would be a lovely place to stay. Thanks to everyone at the Plough Inn and everyone we met in the village for making our day so special. 🙌
