Stay at least a weekend in this historic manorhouse. It’s a charming, stately place in the country, with breathtaking scenery and Scottish Cows outside, plus delicious food and great company inside. Beautiful, amazing, fantastic, I can’t say enough good things about it. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to get away.

The rooms felt five-star, and breakfast was freshly made and beautifully presented. This was my best overnight stop in Scotland. Andrea and Donnie were amazing hosts and went out of their way to make me feel at home.

We only stopped by the roadside to admire the Highland cows after people in town suggested this place. They were majestic, and we had a great time watching them. I wish we’d known about it earlier so we could have stayed here. Still, getting to enjoy the experience for free was lovely, and I wanted to return the favour with a review. Highly recommend it. ❤️🤎

Muckrach Country House Hotel feels like a beautiful home, with comfortable, lovely sitting rooms, a library, bar, and dining room. Louise, Donny and Andrea gave us such a warm welcome, and we felt relaxed and at home throughout. There’s no rush here.

We came to Muckrach for four days for my son's wedding. The grounds and house are beautiful, and since our party were the only guests, we had the place to ourselves. Each room has its own feel. We especially loved curling up in the cosy library with the fire going. It’s about 10 minutes to Grantown on Spey and 20 to Aviemore. Be sure to see Muckrack's full time residents, Hamish and Dougal.
