Craiglands Bed and Breakfast, Grassington

The cooked-to-order breakfast has a huge choice, and the room feels warm and friendly. I travel a lot and can’t stand a silent, tense breakfast room. At Craiglands, I’ve often had really good conversations with other guests. Lynette has suggested some great walks, and the walking nearby is fantastic. It’s also a lovely ten-minute stroll into Grassington, which can get very, very busy with visitors. I’ve just come back from my fourth stay with Lynette & Dave. As a woman travelling alone, I find it a great place to unwind and relax. They’re warm, friendly hosts and always welcome you with tea or coffee and homemade cake. Yesterday it was delicious scones. The rooms are simple, homely and cosy.

Dave & Lynette are very friendly, and there are lovely touches around this B&B, especially the homemade cake in the quiet corner. We stayed four nights over New Year. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with a nicely sized shower room. Breakfast was very good, with plenty to choose from, and nothing was too much trouble. We’d recommend this lovely B&B, just a ten-minute walk from the centre of Grassington.

As a solo woman traveller, I felt welcome, safe and completely comfortable at Craiglands. It’s cosy, warm and inviting, with lovely details like the reading corner and delicious homemade cake, china teapots and cups, and beautiful handmade decorations. Lynette and Davis were welcoming and excellent hosts, with helpful suggestions for local restaurants and exploring the countryside. The cooked breakfast was excellent, made with local produce, with plenty of tasty options and brilliant service. I loved my cosy stay over NYE and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The hosts were lovely, and the whole place was so peaceful that we couldn't hear anyone in the other rooms. We arrived to a yummy cake and lots of thoughtful little touches. Breakfast was amazing too. We'd happily stay again soon.
