Kirbymooreside is a lovely little town, about a three minute walk away, with pubs, restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets. We only needed the car to pick up logs. The place is lovely and definitely crooked, which made us like it even more. We were welcomed with a drink and snacks 😀, and the open fire was a real hit. No faults at all, except that we didn't want to leave that incredibly comfortable bed! We're hoping to visit again and would recommend it to a couple or someone staying alone.
