We came for a night we'd won at an event at Duration Brewery, including dinner. From check-in, the hospitality was outstanding. Our cosy room had everything we needed, and the homemade vodka was a lovely extra. Dinner was first class, beautifully presented and delicious. My husband had the beef roast and I chose the vegan option. The staff were all attentive and friendly, especially Annie, who checked we were okay before she left. Breakfast was just as nice, with a big selection for everyone. The Dabbling Duck has a really cosy pub atmosphere and is dog friendly, so it's definitely worth a visit. We can't thank the staff enough for making the stay so memorable, and we'll be back.

The staff were friendly and knew their food, and the meal was good in genuine rustic surroundings. The menu was unusual and varied. For the price, though, I wanted more attention to detail. A couple of items were undercooked, and I did mention it to our waiter. Even so, it was a great experience and I'd go again. Book ahead, as it gets very busy.

The garden is lush, and the service and atmosphere were great. My girlfriend and I dropped in on the off chance and shared some small plates and a burger. That burger is hands down one of the best I've had, with homemade Japanese milk buns and homemade American style cheese. I'd add a picture, but there was nothing left. We'll be back for sure.

The pub has quirky decor and separate areas, so even when busy it doesn't feel like everyone's on top of each other. It's very dog friendly, with lots of dogs around. We went for Sunday lunch after booking. The food was excellent and came very quickly. The vegan roast was lovely, the best I've had, and the portions were big. The car park was busy, and the overflow area was waterlogged. I'd definitely go back.

We went last night and had a fantastic time. The food was unreal: duck nuggets and the pumpkin starter were delicious, and both the steak of the day and scampi were fantastic too. The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Even though the place was packed, service was really quick, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere and decor are really nice and cosy. I can't recommend The Dabbling Duck highly enough. It's earned a rightful place on our list of the best pubs and restaurants in Norfolk.
