The black pudding Bon Bon’s with the pork was beautiful. It’s a lovely place, the staff are lovely too, and our room had a nice, comfortable bed.

A really tasty dessert, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. We had a lovely meal with the family at this great pub. The portions could have been a little larger, particularly the vegetables.

We were looked after so well on a difficult weekend, and the delicious breakfasts and friendly staff made a difference. We’d booked two rooms at the Lime Tree Inn at short notice after finding no other nearby places available, and what a find it was. Both rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. We’ll come back for Sunday lunch next time we’re 'up north'!

The beef was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were full of flavour without being overcooked, which matters a lot to me. We stopped in by chance for Sunday lunch on the first weekend under new management. I’ve eaten here several times over the past two years, and this visit was just as good, if not better. The staff were very attentive. We’ll definitely return and try more of the new menus.

The food, rooms, and staff were all wonderful at this pet-friendly village inn. We were given a very warm welcome, and they were extremely accommodating. I’d definitely recommend it.
