Manor Farm Bed & Breakfast

We spent a few nights here for our holiday and had an awesome stay. The family running the B&B were kind and friendly. Getting in by car was a little confusing, but we found it without any problems. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. We visited in summer, and the night sky was full of stars. Breakfast was filling, with options from a Full English to bread and hot drinks.

The host and hostess were positively charming. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the setting is peaceful. There’s a great pub within walking distance, and Bath is less than 30 minutes away. Be sure to try the free range eggs!

The Green Room was huge, with a lovely comfortable bed and gorgeous sheets. The modern bathroom had all the amenities, including a lighted magnifying mirror, and the mirrors and plugs in my room were all in the right spots. I was there for one night for a wedding across the road, so the location was very handy. Catherine and co were really friendly. I missed breakfast, but left with a dozen fresh eggs from the farm. Nothing to fault, and I’d highly recommend it for a country weekend. I’ll definitely return!

The family who run the B&B are very kind and friendly. I stayed one night on business in Chippenham, and the room was clean, pleasant and comfortable, with a nice view over the farm and village. Grittleton is a picturesque village with a great pub just down the road from Manor Farm. The drive into Chippenham in the morning was quick and easy, with no traffic issues. I’ll stay again sometime.
