I spent two weeks there while starting a new job, and the staff were extremely helpful. It's a very relaxed place, and everyone was very, very friendly. Guildford town centre is a 10-12 minute walk away. Atkinson's deserves its already high ratings, and I'm happy to add my strong recommendation.

The continental breakfast was a letdown. My room faced the main road and was noisy and cold, with broken window latches. It was incredibly dirty too, with dust and spider webs everywhere. I wouldn't recommend it.

There was no cooked breakfast, and I wasn't impressed. The owners were nowhere to be seen when I arrived slightly early, so I waited an hour for someone to open the locked door. Two girls had been waiting for two hours, so I took pity on them and sheltered them from the rain in my car. No one answered either the mobile or landline number displayed on the front of the house.

A beautiful, peaceful home away from home, with attentive hosts. I loved the furnishings and the area, and the attention to detail made my stay remarkable. I'll stay here when I visit Surrey. Thank you, Alex and family 💟

Absolutely lovely. The woman running it is so sweet, and the room was beautiful. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Guildford.
