The room was comfortable and warm, with two double beds, so it’s good value for a family, though basic. The layout is okay, but adding the extra bed makes it hard to get to the wardrobe. There’s a bath with a shower over it, handy for soaking sore muscles. Towels, shampoo, gel and soap are provided, and the room has tea, coffee and hot chocolate that are topped up each day when it’s cleaned. Having a fridge is a real bonus. The decor and finish aren’t great, but it’s functional and more comfortable than the PAV-06 (Pavilion) I had last week, which cost more. I’d stay again. Sound carries between rooms if you have noisy neighbours, though luckily ours quietened down soon enough. The curtains don’t block much light, and outside lights stay on all night, so the room was bright. There aren’t many power sockets: one double between the beds, with the bedside cupboards on the other side, and just one other free socket near the T.V. Bring an extension lead if you have several things to plug in.

It was a very cold January night, but the room was warm and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and had fresh linen, and the shower was hot in the morning. There was tea, coffee and bottled water in the room, plus toiletries and towels in the bathroom. I’ll definitely stay again.

We had a great stay for a family celebration. The rooms were spacious, and the staff were very friendly. I’d come back when I’m at Bisely.

The beds were good, and they supplied towels and coffee. It was a nice, quiet place to stay and good value for money. Our shower had no warm setting, just piping hot or freezing cold water, but they moved us to another room and sorted it out. Good service. It could have been tidier. I’d come back!

We come down to Bisley for the annual birthday bash, and St Georges is our regular choice because the rooms are ensuite. Some rooms have been modernised, with a few still to do. The new USB charging hubs are a welcome addition. The rooms are clean and have tea-making facilities, hair dryers and the usual extras. The beds are comfortable enough. A perfect place to stay for shooting at Bisley or attending a nearby function.
