Breakfast was a treat, especially the smoked salmon and eggs, and the coffee was great too. The owners were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We slept comfortably in the beautifully decorated rooms, with high-end linens and a brand-new bathroom. The gardens and setting were idyllic. We’d happily come back when we hike the Cotswolds again.

Ray even arranged an extra breakfast sitting so we could get a later start on Sunday, and it was delicious. Everything had been thought through, and nothing was too much trouble. We also had no problem parking. Guiting Guest House is beautiful and peaceful, and it’s only a ten-minute drive from many of the main tourist spots. We had a lovely stay last weekend and would absolutely recommend it.

Ray welcomed us to breakfast beside a crackling log fire in a lovely breakfast room, and the food was worthy of 30 Michelin Stars. We’d slept really well, and Ray’s breakfast service was exceptional. For our one-night Cotswolds break, the location made it easy to visit the main picture-perfect spots, but the stay at Guiting Guest House was what made our weekend and went beyond what we expected. Ray & Glenn have made the place feel incredibly welcoming. It was spotless, organised and clearly thought through, with 10/10 for the accommodation and 10/10 for service and attention to customers. Ray made us feel welcome with his kind, warm hosting. That gives this lovely cottage a personal touch you don’t get at a standard hotel. It’s in a spectacular village with a real community feel. I’d highly recommend it.

The host clearly cares about this B&B and puts a lot of effort into making sure guests have a good stay in the Cotswolds. The rooms are modern and very nice, and breakfast was great. It’s in a lovely little village, away from the bustle of the main Cotswolds villages, while still just a stone’s throw from them.
