It has a real home-from-home feel, and there’s a nice pub opposite. Although it’s close to the M4, it feels like you’re out in the countryside. Handy for both Cardiff and Newport.

A quiet, tucked-away spot, yet only a 10-minute drive from the city centre. We loved the warm atmosphere, friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and brilliant rain shower. Breakfast was scrumptious too. Our favourite place to stay in Newport.

A real gem, with fantastic decor and facilities. The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive, and put on a first-class breakfast. A must-stay, and I’d recommend it any time of year.

The rooms are beautiful and the service personal. There’s no cooked breakfast, but the continental spread is more than enough. A great B&B.
