We'd eaten in before and always found the food quality high, the portions large, and the staff friendly. Today we ordered a takeaway dinner for three, and the food was amazing, with a surprising amount and variety of vegetables. The staff did it for us at the last minute, and I honestly couldn't fault them. It exceeded my expectations by a lot. Thanks so much for the beautiful meal, we'll definitely be back!

The food is bloody yummy, I can't praise it enough. Had a nice pint of Hawkstone cider with it, and the staff were lovely with amazing service. Thank you!

It's near Shirenewton, right on the main road, with easy access and plenty of parking. This is an old fashioned pub, and the restaurant was clean and tidy, with a lovely traditional welcome from the landlady. We didn't try the rooms, but the home cooked food was delicious, including a lovely pudding. Well worth a visit.

We travel from Newport because we love it here and can't beat the food. The roast dinner is the best when eating out, and the steaks during the week are well worth trying too. The staff can't do enough for you, and the customer service is outstanding. Highly recommend.

There was plenty of delicious food for our party of nine. We each had three courses and were completely full by the end. At £15.95 per person for three courses, it was very reasonable. We'd definitely come back and recommend it.
