We all came away recommending this place for a unique meal. The carriage is warm and cosy, with comfy seats and proper tables, a lovely change from the usual restaurant. Service was first class, with a good sense of humour, and the food was hot and delicious. As dedicated foodies, all four of us thought it deserved a prize.

The family room is lovely and comfortable, and we always eat dinner here. Breakfast is brilliant too. We've stayed at the old station a couple of times since the new management came in, and plan to visit more often as we travel from plymouth to see family in Paulton. The landlord and landlady are lovely and go out of their way to make us welcome. We'd recommend the old station to everybody.

The railway carriage made a beautiful, relaxed setting for our family meal on a miserable rainy day, and the pub looked delightful too. We were well looked after, with service and smiles throughout. The lamb shank and mixed grill were both cooked perfectly, and the desserts were delicious, just enough to finish the meal. Excellent quality food, worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Joanna and Kurt, thank you for an unforgettable evening. We had a wonderful Christmas meal with friends, and the hospitality and atmosphere were amazing. The location was really nice, the food was great and the portions were big. Every one of us was happy with everything. We'll definitely be back.

Such a brilliant evening catching up with a friend. The service was incredible and the food was great. I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of the fish and chips. Can't wait to go back 😍
