A hook behind the bathroom door and proper bedside tables would have made this five stars for me. The local shops are a 15 minute walk away, too. Still, the hosts were lovely, the room had a pleasant rural feel, and the bed was good. Breakfast is continental, with plenty to choose from, including croissants and boiled eggs cooked just right. Just a squink short of five stars.

The room had an en suite shower, and each morning there was a continental breakfast laid out in the residents' well appointed kitchen. It's a family-run B&B in a pretty village, quiet and immaculately clean, and handy for getting to Milton Keynes. Just keep in mind it's a bed and breakfast, not a full service hotel, so there isn't a resident's bar, restaurant or concierge. A lovely place for a quiet few days, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

Nibbles ate a hamster. I'm utterly disgusted by this behavior. This hooligan must be stopped.
