The Little House Harberton

A lovely, cosy spot in a dreamy rural village where life moves slowly. The old 14th-century pub is stunning, especially in winter, and the staff are so lovely they make it feel like a community. The food is full of flavour and just perfect. My new favourite place in the area. We’ll be back!

It's so cosy and special here, I hope the pub flourishes even though part of me would like to keep it to myself. The vibe is the best of any pub I've visited, and the food is excellent every time we eat here. Hoping to try one of their curated dinner party nights soon.

We chose Church House Inn for our post-wedding feast, and it made for such an amazing day. The rustic venue has genuine hospitality and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, which is hard to find these days. Tim and the team were brilliant in the run-up and on the day. The whole setup was perfect, and the food was amazing, just as we'd expected after going to a Sunday banquet there a few months before. Thank you so much ❤️

The Sunday roast is an event. Our group of eight loved the occasion Tim created, along with the beautifully cooked local meat and vegetables. I also had the best burger of my life here. It's a special pub that feels like a hidden treasure, and like a second home whether you're stopping for a pint or sitting down to eat. The staff are always warm and welcoming. Already looking forward to coming back.
