The room was cosy, warm and comfortable, with everything I needed, though a few things need maintenance. I had to more or less fix the shower head back in place, and the window catch was loose. The reception “Kates” were so friendly and helpful. They even carried my luggage, which I really appreciated. The restaurant and bar servers were kind and helpful too. The kitchen was less successful. I understand supplies can be delayed on an island, but as someone with coeliac disease, I had limited choices. My first picks were unavailable on both nights, and although there was gluten-free cereal on the first morning, there wasn’t any the next day.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was first class, the rooms were great, and most had good views. The location is amazing. Well worth stopping over, and I’d highly recommend it.

The food was delicious, and the staff were lovely and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel inside, and we’ll definitely be back.

Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, with generous servings. The comfortable, inviting rooms and such a warm welcome from all the staff made for a wonderful stay at the Hotel Hebrides. We’ll be back, and I’d highly recommend a visit.

My room was compact for a longer stay, though it was modern, immaculate and everything worked as it should. It’s a nice, well-equipped hotel, and I suspect the best in Tarbert, with a top restaurant and a comfy bar downstairs. Soundproofing could be an issue if you’re a light sleeper, as a neighbour’s snoring might keep you up. They do provide earplugs.
