The location is central for town, and the price was great value. Our room was immaculate, impressively clean, and the hotel was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The gentleman at reception deserves a special mention for being so friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to be welcomed so well.

The location is great, right in central downtown Harrogate. Our room was clean and tidy, but there was no service available. The two of us had only one set of towels to share.

The staff were very welcoming, and parking is next to the travel lodge. There’s a big gap between the bathroom surface and the filler is needed. Dust on the hinges is easy to see with the door shut, and the floor was dirty. The ceiling light flickers when switched on and needs checking.

The room was basic and a bit tatty. Being central is handy for restaurants, but the noise was terrible. A bar/nightclub next door blasted music into the street until 2:30am. They offered ear plugs, but I still barely slept. This is Harrogate's party centre, and even the top floor's double glazing didn't block it out. If you're considering staying here, go to the Premier inn instead!

For a cheap, clean room in a great location, this budget hotel is ideal. It's not 5 star, but that's not what it's meant to be. Having a Wetherspoons next door is a bonus.
