We loved being able to set off for walks straight from the lodge gate, and saw plenty of deer with the bluebells in full bloom. Dallington Lodge is in a lovely rural spot in the HIgh Weald AONB, with the village pub just a short walk away. It's pet friendly, clean, well equipped, and furnished in a country style. Bring your own towels and groceries, and you can settle in without needing to travel far, especially if you bring bikes or hiking boots. There are outdoor seating spots for both morning and afternoon sun, and it's easy to get a feel for village life. Sarah is a very friendly, accommodating host who knows the area well. The lodge works well for a peaceful, secluded break, or as a base for visiting East Sussex and Kent, including Rye, Camber, Brighton, T Wells and Bexhill.

I came to visit family who were staying here. The lodge was very comfortable, with a lovely garden and a peaceful setting.
