We had a decent apartment for our staff party, and I quite enjoyed staying there. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were a good size with hot water and warm floors, and the rooms heated up quickly, which impressed me given their size. The WiFi was a complete zero, though. It was nonexistent and clearly not looked after. If it had worked, it would have been free. A taxi to the city centre took about 10 minutes and cost around £12.50.

Such a shame, as the place could be stunning. I stayed in appartment 4 and came away covered in bites, so there must be bed bugs. There were no hand towels or hand soap, the dishwasher was broken, and the glasses had cobwebs in them. I also found empty laughing gas containers down the side if sofa.

There was one roll of toilet paper for ten people, and one of our showers didn’t work. The £250 breakages deposit is hard to understand when so many things were already broken on arrival. The accommodation is very basic and badly in need of a revamp, fresh paint and a general clean. There were holes in some bedroom walls where doors had obviously been slammed open, chewing gum stains across all the carpets, barely any furnishings, and not enough pillows for the beds. It all looks very outdated and dirty. I wouldn’t go back or recommend it.

We’ve just arrived for a group booking, and there’s water still pouring from the smoke alarm into the flooded main bedroom. We were told to move mattresses and sleep on the couches. Several of us tried to discuss the problem calmly, but now we can’t get a response from the client. We’ve been hung up on several times, and nobody answers the phone. We also have no towels, so we can’t even wash. The ground-floor apartment’s windows don’t even lock. This is an obvious breach of trading standards and an unsafe environment, with health and safety seemingly nonexistent. We paid a lot to stay here, and the staff’s attitude has been completely unprofessional. What’s provided isn’t satisfactory. We won’t let this ruin our stay, but the experience has caused unnecessary stress. It isn’t worth the time or money, given the terrible customer service.
