The location makes it easy to get into town, and once we’d found the small slip road, parking was fine, though it’s a tight space. Croft Mill is still a place we’d stay at again. A few modest, low cost changes could make a big difference. We had a standard two bedroom apartment, with a good amount of space. The inside porch was handy for coats and boots, and helped keep the cold out. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and a nice dining table; the sofa was only ok. The bedrooms were an adequate size and had lots of storage, though the wide, deep chest of drawers in the double room made it awkward to move around the bed. The bathroom was ok too, but the sink took up too much room and left little space for toiletries. Most of the apartment was very clean, but the carpets were stained and threadbare in places and could do with replacing. The breakfast hamper felt a bit sparse. I realise it probably wasn’t intended as a full breakfast, but local bread from a bakery, and perhaps bacon or eggs, would have been an easy improvement. What we got was a tin of beans, two tiny cereal packets and one Weetabix, along with tea, coffee and a few biscuits. My other gripe was the 10am checkout, which felt very early. You can pay extra for each additional hour, but still.

We booked at fairly short notice for a weekend away, just the two of us, and were really pleased. They upgraded our apartment at no extra charge, and we wished we’d had another night to enjoy it. It had everything we needed, including a washing machine, plus a lovely basket of food essentials. We love Hebden Bridge and this place too, especially being so close to its best cafes, restaurants and pubs. We’ll definitely come back.

We stayed in apartment 5 on 24th January 2025 for my friend’s 50th. It was beautifully clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. They’d also left milk, tea, coffee and a continental breakfast. I’d certainly recommend it.

Stayed three nights from 6th October 25, and wow, the accommodation was outstanding: bright, fresh and spotless. The hosts were fantastic and the customer care was as good as it gets. Our TV had a problem and they sorted it straight away. I travel a lot, and these apartments were the cleanest I’ve seen. Huge thanks to the cleaners for all their hard work. You’re a credit to the place. Much respect. We’ll see you again soon.

We came with friends and booked two apartments, which were very similar. They had great amenities, free parking and a fantastic location. The welcome breakfast pack was generous: bread, butter, jam, eggs, milk, biscuits, some cheese and oatcakes, cereal, tea and coffee. Toiletries and basic cleaning supplies were there too. We’ve already booked another visit and definitely recommend it.
