The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and the peaceful location suited my trip perfectly. The house was tidy throughout, my room was very clean, and breakfast was excellent.

The hosts are very welcoming and happy to help if you need anything. Breakfast is made to order, and I really appreciated how they handled my dietary requirements. It’s a lovely little B&B within walking distance of the town centre, with free off-road parking. My room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with a roomy ensuite. There’s tea and coffee in the room, decent coffee bags and a choice of teas, plus a downstairs fridge where you can get fresh milk.

We were setting off on the John Muir Way the following day, and this B&B is right on the route. It’s also just a short walk from the station and shops. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and breakfast in the beautiful garden room was great.

A nicely presented B&B with very nice hosts. Breakfast was okay, though the cooked options were quite limited. There were no sausages, and brown bread was the only bread offered.
