The place felt charming and homey, and the people working there were genuinely friendly. Fantastic location and good value too. Loved it.

Please take this warning seriously. The place was filthy and disgusting, and I couldn’t make myself stay even one night. I’d driven 465 miles to get there, then turned around and drove all the way home. The room they offered as an alternative was just as bad as the first. Booking.com wouldn’t give me a refund because they said another room had been offered. Their advert also doesn’t mention that it’s right beside a run-down council estate. I ended up driving 940 miles in one day and losing my hard-earned money. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

We had a comfortable bed, a quiet location and a generous breakfast, and the landlady couldn’t have been more welcoming. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the bench outside Selkie hse. The reviewer peppe panti must need a trip to specsavers. I’d say give it a stay and decide for yourself, rather than listening to Grumpy peppe.

What a shame. There was mold and dust everywhere, and the house felt filthy and creepy. The owner seemed unable to manage the situation. Even with all the evidence in front of her, she kept trying to excuse the poor hygiene, which left me feeling embarrassed for her. As someone with successful expertise in hospitality, my advice is not to rush a room back onto the market when there are problems. Fix it properly first. And never tell a person with disabilities to stay home instead of going around. Everyone has the right to try to live a normal life. If the host no longer has a passion for this hard but beautiful job, she should retire.
