We stayed for two nights. It's a very clean place, with helpful instructions for getting into the house and room. The location is great, with coffee shops, restaurants, stores, lovely walks and a big Tesco nearby. We had the bathroom across the room. That was okay, though I think I'd have preferred an en-suite. The bathroom was clean and nice. The WiFi was an absolute nightmare. You're better off using mobile data, since we couldn't watch a movie through our subscriptions on the bad connection. The rooms aren't soundproof either. One night we could hear a couple having an intimate moment at midnight. Putting something on YouTube helped a lot, haha. I don't regret staying, but I don't think this would be my choice if I came back to the area.

The room and shared bathroom were immaculate during our one-night stay for the Cheltenham Festival. The only issue was a small one, but the window blind in the room was broken. Since the room faced the main road, streetlights kept it very bright all night and it didn't feel very private.

We stayed in room 4. It was smaller than it looked on the website, but comfortable. The private bathroom across the hall was very spacious and had a fantastic shower. Make sure the bathroom door shuts properly, though. The room is right by a busy road and can be noisy at times, but that's not the hotel's fault, so I can't really take off a star for it. We'd stay again.

The room had some lovely touches: fudge, sherry, bottled water, and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was across the hallway, but that wasn't a problem. My only reason for not giving five stars is that the room is above a very busy road with lots of noisy traffic.

The rooms were nicely decorated, but very small, and you can't spend much time in there without it feeling almost claustrophobic. Front rooms get crazy road noise, making a good night's sleep hard. The mattress dipped in the middle, the pillows were flat, and the TV was very small by today's standards. If you book, make sure you choose an en-suite room. With the other rooms you have to cross the hallway and enter your private bathroom with a passcode, and there's nowhere to put your clothes in there. The shower pressure is so strong that water goes everywhere, and you can't adjust it. At £85.50 a night this was disappointing. I'd accept it at £50.00.
