This lovely 19th century cottage is picturesque, spacious and cosy, just right for a couple of days exploring Conway and the surrounding area. The only gripe is the drive in, through the narrowest farm lanes I’ve had the pleasure of navigating. The shop is only a couple of miles away, but the trip there and back takes half an hour, so stock up.

The owners were such a lovely, helpful couple, and we couldn’t have asked for better. The views are stunning, and the house has loads of space and traditional charm, with lots of unique features. The kids were happy too, thanks to the big TV and Wi-Fi. As soon as we stepped inside this beautiful holiday home, we knew we’d love our week away.

A wonderfully peaceful place, with lovely views over farmland to the sea. It’s close enough to Conwy to go out for dinner, yet far enough away to feel like you’ve escaped it all. If you want to properly relax, this is the spot. The fabulously comfortable 5* hotel beds and crisp white cotton linen were a great bonus.

I’ve never written a review before, but wanted to warn people. This was a scam! They took my deposit months ahead, let us book a family Christmas holiday and accepted the full payment, then said it was double booked and told us to find somewhere else. To make matters worse, she said she “can’t deal with this stress, she’s too old.” Wish I could give zero stars.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Hafodty Cottage. It was very clean and had all the facilities we needed, and we really enjoyed our stay. The owners were so friendly. Thank you, we’ll come back for another holiday.
