The bed was lovely and comfortable, and I appreciated the hospitality, food, room, location and good price. But the owner's check-in and check-out times were a problem: no check-in before 4 pm and a 10 am departure. That left us walking around Romsey town centre for three hours in torrential rain. Disappointing.

Breakfast was excellent, and the room was clean and very comfortable. We had a very good stay at The Palmerston Rooms. We left the car at Broadwater Road car park around the corner, which was good value: £1 for arrival after 4 PM and departure before 10:29 AM the next day.

The owners were helpful and arranged a taxi for us. The rooms and shared areas were spotless, with lovely decoration, and breakfast was excellent and presented very nicely.

We had an amazing time and would definitely come back. The room was very clean and roomy enough for a family, the food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. Thank you!

We stayed two nights and loved it. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the place was extremely clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was cooked just right and kept us going all day. We'll definitely stay again when we're in that part of the country.
