The town is only a five-minute walk away, so I'd recommend staying here. We were welcomed by a lovely woman who knew the area well. Our room was clean and fairly spacious, and the bathroom had pretty much everything we needed. Although it was on a main road, we didn't hear any traffic. The little bottle of wine was a nice touch, and we both slept really well, though we'd been out drinking all day. I woke up a little hungover and wished there had been a full English breakfast on site.

The bed was comfortable, but the breakfast was meagre. There are some great places to eat in the town centre, though. The shower was unbearably hot; I only managed to cool it after running water into the bath and leaving it for a while. Some websites seem to advertise kitchen facilities like a toaster, but I'm not sure those are actually available.

Be warned, this was a bizarre place, really someone's house. We had to wait when we arrived because nobody was there, and they wanted to charge extra for arriving after 10 pm. Breakfast was just a packet of dry porridge. Terrible.
