The location is good for the theatre and the town centre. For the price, it's okay, but honestly not great. The room could be cleaner and would feel more comfortable with a few extra things, like hangers or hooks.

The bed was comfortable, the room reasonably clean, and the position convenient. I do think they mean well and are trying to provide good service, but they haven't quite got it right yet. They told me they'd only recently converted the place from student accommodation into a hotel. I'm a retired builder and have spent quite a bit of time in high Wycombe over the past year, helping my daughters with building work on their property. I usually use the travel lodge or premier inn, but decided to try this place. From outside, it didn't feel very welcoming. My wife and I were met at the door by a man who looked me up and down. I was a bit grubby after a busy day, and he said he was concerned I'd get the room dirty. He showed us in, then called a few minutes later to say it had just been refurbished and he didn't want it getting dirty. I'm still not sure what he expected me to do to it. The room disappointed me. It was small, and the repainting was poorly done. There was a crack in the widow pain, as shown in the photos. The fridge was noisy, and even after running the hot tap and shower for two or three minutes, we got no hot water. A glass panel above the door lets corridor light into the room whenever someone walks by, which can be off putting when you're trying to sleep. Coffee was provided, but without sugar I couldn't drink it. Coat hooks and a towel rail would also be useful.

Spotless rooms and very comfortable beds, with really helpful staff. It's a great find near the train station and high street. I'd highly recommend it. I would have liked breakfast in the morning, though they aren't serving it yet. I hope they do in future.

The rooms were a little small, but nicely decorated, clean and tidy. The manager was attentive and helpful, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and hope to book again. The location is excellent too.

Crendon House Hotel made for a relaxing stay and good value. The location was convenient for getting around, and I had a comfortable bed in a clean, cozy room. I really enjoyed my time there.
