Hampton by Hilton High Wycombe

We had dinner in the comfortable seats near reception. The menu was limited, but the beef lasagne was excellent and there was plenty of it. In the morning, the buffet had lots of hot and cold options, though the food could have been hotter. Check-in and check-out were quick, with no problems. We stayed one night after spending the day at the Eden Shopping Centre. The room was nicely laid out and just right for our needs, with very comfortable beds and a super large screen television.

The location of Hampton by Hilton in High Wycombe is handy, close to the town centre and public transport. The clean, comfortable rooms have very good beds, and the tasty breakfast offers a good choice. Friendly, helpful staff made everything easier and more enjoyable. A special thanks to Paulina. She creates an amazing atmosphere and makes guests feel very welcome. Her positive attitude made my stay much more pleasant. It's a good hotel and worth the price for a short visit.

The location was very convenient, and I was given free bottles water for xmas. I stayed for two nights, and the room itself was okay, but when I went to hang up my freshly ironed clothes, the hangers were dusty. I tried calling room service but got no answer. Breakfast was disappointing on both mornings. On Christmas morning the food was cold, so I just had toast, and the milk jug was empty when I went to make tea. I thought it might be because it was Christmas Day and staff could be short, so I didn't think much of it at the time. The next morning, Boxing Day, wasn't much better, even though the hotel was very busy. The food was warm, but there were no plates, milk or bread. The location was good, but cleanliness and breakfast service were below what I expected.

The hotel was a welcome place to come back to after the coach trip across London to ABBA Voyage. I stayed two nights on a Shearings Coach tour. The room was very comfortable, and the hotel itself was warm, clean, quiet and delightful. Staff were lovely and helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was a bit basic and overdone. I’d stay there again if I was in the area.
